I saw this unfold in kalifornia when I was working there. Wetbacks using the ERs of several local hospitals for their brats' colds and flu.
The hospitals were required by law to care for them but, the wetbacks gave false names and addresses, and never paid a dime.
The hospitals (San Joaquin valley) shut down their ERs because they were broke.
This was in the Sacramento Bee which was surprising, as the Bee is a liberal rag.
