The 2024 Presidential Election is Already About Abortion
American Thinker ^ | February 4, 2023 | James Harden

The Republican National Convention is placing abortion front and center for the 2024 election cycle, now convinced that being pro-life is a winning political strategy. On August 25, I warned Republicans that refusing to advocate for the preborn would dilute the red wave. And so it did. The red wave died on the beach of indifference. Where is the confidently anticipated Senate majority? No comfortable majority in the House either. Hidden within the results there is a mandate: killing the preborn up to and after birth is not acceptable and representatives who hedge on protecting all people equally are not desirable to the American

As the RNC recently affirmed in their January 30th resolution, the only path to a Republican victory in 2024 is for those who are uncomfortable defending the rights of the preborn to take their political cod liver oil and toughen up. Equally protecting all citizens -- especially the preborn ones -- must be front and center in every Republican candidate’s campaign, from federal to state. This means Republican candidates need to learn to be pro-life statesmen, able to articulate why they are pro-life and why everyone else should be too -- including independent and Democrat voters.

I am most comfortable with the author’s pure, “no exceptions” position on abortion, but am also leery of “the perfect being the enemy of the good.” We need divine guidance on how to approach this issue going forward.

Support he right to life by strongly supporting the decision made by SCOTUS. We are a Constitutional party and it needs to be said loud and clear!!

I’m wondering if Lindsay Graham is going to loudly propose his total “national abortion ban” just before election day like he did in 2022.

I suppose it will depend upon whom we nominate.

There are people who say we should support ripping an unborn baby to pieces while it is still alive in order to have a chance at winning elections.

People who think that way are part of the problem.

Roe was doomed from the start because of the USSC claiming powers it did not have.

But thinking that having people vote their favorite sin up or down would save babies lives was foolish. Everywhere this goes to a vote in this degraded age, the answer is going to be, "kill 'em".

So go to your Bible and discern what follows the rule of Judges.

Christian absolute monarchy is the only solution to this particular problem.

So was the last one. Seems like a lot of folks didn’t think it would be THE issue. But, with enough lying and misinformation it sure appears to have been THE issue. The democommies are excellent at delivering lies and misleading folks. Now, anyone seen the reports of womxn’s deaths due to overturning R v W?

Sick of this bullsh##, anonymously they can order pills on line and do it form home and no one knows, waiting to murder your baby until its time to give birth or after is murder and should be treated as such. And lets go back to keeping your legs closed and being responsible. If they want to do it do it on your own dime not mine. They will be judged and they will be standing alone not with the spot lights on the microphone in their face and the ata boy pats on the back for killing your own baby

Either way it goes we can now look back to who started it.

Be careful what you wish for.

It shouldn’t be. We won. Roe vs. Wade was overturned and that’s the end of it at the national level. Abortion goes back to the states. Red states can now make laws that protect the unborn and that’s what victory looks like. Republicans putting abortion front and center serves no purpose. It will only act to alienate some voters and give the media an issue to drum on about. You almost think that they are trying to lose, hmm. No, the republican party would never pull defeat from the jaws of victory would they?

Lindsay Graham sabotaged the kast election by declaring that the gop, would ban abortion nationwide right before the midterms. What will he do this time to sabotage the God’s chances of winning?

Autocorrect strikes again- it was supposed to read “the Gop’s chances of winning. Even now it turned my “gop’s” into “God’s”, and I had to correct it myself. I didn’t see the w

Thank you for referencing that article NorthernDancer. Please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

"And so it did. The red wave died on the beach of indifference."

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Trump repeatedly emphasized at Trump Rallies that Pelosi would be out of power. And since that happened despite alleged Democratic vote-counting fraud, the idea that there was no Trump red tsunami is ongoing corrupt media propaganda imo.

Note that Trump was less confident with flipping the Senate MAGA imo, probably because of staggered, 6 year election cycles.

In fact, unlike lethargic Republican response to alleged mischief in 2020 elections, allegations of vote-counting fraud in 2022 elections are still being challenged in court.
