Well, I remember a fellow amateur radio operator told me a story where he was a kid in the 1950’s. He ordered a weather balloon from a comic book back then. He grew up in Spokane near Fairchild AFB. He filled up the balloon and let it go and it drifted towards Fairchild and they scrambled 4 Sabre Jets. When I heard this story, I asked the question, should they scramble some F-15’s or something? We have malfeasance in the Administration

The only other reason I see for it continuing to fly is if we shoot it down, China will accuse us of an act of war, which the media will then blame republicans for taking an aggressive stance. I so hate the Biden administration. That's not a good reason. Being afraid that China will accuse us of something false, and appeasing China because of it will only lead to further transgressions.

Liberals claim the Chinese spy balloon was just a bunch of hot air.
