The American people, even supposed conservatives on this forum, are addicted to socialism. It’s a real problem, and it’s why Fedzilla cannot live within its means. “We the People” won’t let it.
A 10% reduction is doable without anyone noticing any difference. It would involve eliminating entire departments, not reductions that could be reinstated from one year to the next.
Washington is rotten to the core: the Decadence of Western Civilization in America. Ultimately it is the American People who are responsible; it is they who tolerate such evil.
I have never been able to understand that with 535 of the advertised "best and brightest" there is not enough collective IQ to be able to balance a budget.
