I watched the entire thing last night on youtube. The first question that came to mind is why am I even seeing this when they told President Trump how it was illegal for it to be shared, copied, or verbally transmitted, or even notes taken.
And THEY release it!! Why forbid the defendant to release, if the prosecutors are simply going to turn around and release?
Where exactly is the fairness in that?
Next alert is the obvious entrapment nature of the questions, particularly those targeting assumptions a person might use to personally determine values of properties. I can assume, for example, that my mustang is for some reason a classic and therefore worth a hundred grand. Can ANY assumption be picked at? Of course it can.
Finally, it was the endless stream of such questions that would have required a photographic memory. They went all the way back to about 2011. And the president was NOT permitted to refer to anything, if I recall the opening instructions correctly. Even his lawyer couldn’t help him but was restricted to advising him either to answer or not answer a particular question.
I can’t tell you what I had for lunch on Monday, much less what I was thinking in 2011. Moreover, if I had others doing this for me, which a billionaire probably would have, how could you possibly know all they were thinking about something as nebulous as “assumptions.”
It was pure set-up from the word go. It confirms the total corruption of our so-called “justice” system.
Fairness??? What, are you kidding? Fairness is long-gone. See Tagline also.
