I doubt if Trump wins this lawsuit. It would have been better had he never sat down and subitted to an interview with Woodward in the first place. He’s only doing what any so called reporter is expected to do, report on his subject.
In today’s liberal environment, no remark is ever ‘off the table’ when you’re a republican president.

I would imagine that Woodward made sure that he had the authority to release those recordings. Most likely in some paperwork that Trump signed.

I think Trump did a lot of good things. But this is a prime example of Trumps incredible lack of judgment when it comes to the media. What the Hell was he thinking when he gave these interviews and allowed them to be taped? Did he really think he could control how they were used or what was in the book? I don’t think he is naive. I think its arrogance.
