“putting Israel First”

The more complete version: “putting the survival of Israel first”.

Same applies to “putting America first”

By aiding Ukraine to exterminate Russia, Israel protects it’s Syrian border from the Russian occupiers there

Biden’s Ukraine campaign against Russia will destabilize the entire world. Makes you wonder if that was not the true intent from the beginning. Israel helps attack Russia and Israel has a lot more problems with its neighbors who are Russian allies. As if Israel needs any more problems. All of this for what? Ukraine???

I think they got full access to the naval base as a result of their invitation to provide security to Assad. To my recollection, previously they had access to it on an ad hoc limited basis with small fast boats but not major naval fleets. Now they can put big warships in the Mediterranean. They had no substantial access warm water ports before that since Carter signed the Camp David accords. We can thank Obama and SOS Clinton for bungling the diplomacy with Syria (red lines, no red lines, Arab spring, no Arab spring - no consistent policy and taking out Qaddafi didn’t help assuage Assad’s fears).

Yup.

Russia has a problem and it has to do with access to (European) warm water. The Black sea can be corked up like a bottle with a couple subs.
