These altercations between teachers and students could be avoided if the teachers did not ridicule the student in front of the class about a grade or a test or whatever. In the military, a drill sergeant or office cannot humiliate a soldier in front of other soldiers. It is like a boss, ridiculing an employee in front of fellow employees.”””
Hey Wayne! You have no idea about the military when making a stoopid comment like that! Idiota!
Drill sergeant? absolutely.
"YOUR OTHER LEFT FOOT!"
Officer? Not likely but I could tell a rare story or two.
These altercations would be avoided if the teachers WERE NOT FORBIDDEN TO DEFEND THEMSELVES.

Freepers familiar with the usual tenor of my comments might find this surprising, but I agree with the above statement. However, there should also be an ironclad rule that students must immediately do as instructed when told to leave a classroom or any other place on school property.
In the military, a drill sergeant or office cannot humiliate a soldier in front of other soldiers.
Says a liberal arsehole who never spent a day in the military.
Presidents can't legislate or spend money that congress has not appropriated but they do.
I wonder whose military he's talking about. It's only later that you realize the drill sergeant is yelling in your face as to instruct the other recruits as well as you.
Well, at least the first person responding called him out on his ignorance.
“Wayne, your mother must have imbued you with respect for authority or at least I hope she did? Why did you reject that teaching to offer a mealy-mouthed apologia for an obviously undisciplined, immature teenager?”
As did the one after that.
“You must have been in a different military than me.”

There was no evidence whatsoever that the thug was upset on being “called out” in front of fellow students. By her attitude, I suspect she is the type of student who is proud to announce she didn’t do any required work so any attempt at embarrassment wouldn’t work anyway. But, the left will make up any excuse they can for the failure of the public school system and the students they pretend to “uplift” by rationalizing their behavior. The student deserves a few months in jail in order to think seriously about her “privilege”.
In the military, a drill sergeant or office cannot humiliate a soldier in front of other soldiers.
