A company called tpg has an interest too i have directv for 13yrs. A lot of freepers complain about everything.

It never did have anything to do with money. To carry Newsmax with the new fees, it would cost AT&T $1/DirecTv subscriber. CNN costs DirecTv $14/DirecTv subscriber, and CNN doesn’t come close to the number of subscribers Newmax has.
More likely their decision was based on all the lucrative government contracts AT&T has received recently. So the taxpayers are paying for their contracts, and AT&T in turn is deplatforming news that conservative taxpayers prefer. It’s another example of the government using big tech as an agent to do what the government is constitutionally forbidden to do.
They installed the dish today and I am very Happy

We ditched DirectTV about 6 months ago, but unfortunately, we have to keep ATT for a bit longer. We live so far in the country that it is the only cell carrier that we can pick up at the moment.

We have been on Elon’s list for over a year. Perhaps we little folk in this country are not as important as the Ukrainians.
