Memphis has become East St. Louis writ large. A truly failed city with barely enough economics and free money from Nashville and DC to keep klunking along. We went in the 80s and did the whole Graceland/Beale/MudIsle thing because I knew that metro would become worse than Detroit inside 8 Mile (it is, easily) and worse than East Chicago (getting there fast).

This kid didn't deserve that, but what I thought was crazy was he died in a neighborhood that looked built in late 90s with $300K houses. If marxism is gonna destroy the US, take out your trash somewhere else.
