The chief of police in Memphis in charge of the five officers who fatally beat and tasered motorist Tyre Nichols was fired from a previous law enforcement job after a botched probe.
Cerelyn “CJ” Davis became the first female police chief in Memphis’ history in 2021 and is currently in the international spotlight after five cops brutally beat Tyre Nichols.
She was fired from the Atlanta police department in 2008 for her alleged involvement in a sex crimes investigation into the husband of an Atlanta police sergeant, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

My guess is that the pronunciation of her first name would be similar to Carolyn.
It checks the appropriate quota boxes and keeps the Feds off your ass.
The Democrat Party is a prime example of unqualified people in positions of authority. They make idiotic decisions which negatively affect the health, welfare, and financial security of others.
Based on the uniform, these people really want to play soldier.
Memphis is a war zone, of sorts.

We’re quickly becoming a dysfunctional mess - a dystopia.
She might not be at fault, but the buck stops with her. She will be named in a civil suit, and the usual issues will be raised such as negligent hiring, failure to train, and failure to supervise.
One other thing. This is a classic case which could be filed in Federal Court for violation of civil rights under color of authority. And since this a homicide, this case should be death penalty eligible.

What more could you possibly ask for?
Bad headline. She didn’t “botch” the case. She ordered detectives to drop the investigation, for unknown but possibly corrupt reasons.
“Two detectives accused Davis of telling them not to investigate Terrill Marion Crane, who was married to sergeant Tonya Crane after the police department obtained photos of him with underage girls.”

Why is she dressed up like a military officer? They aren’t the military and we aren’t the enemies. This us vs citizens / perps attitude needs out of the peace officers. Go back to protect and serve.
