After years of Democratic alarms, 0% of black Georgia voters report ‘poor’ experience voting

A full 0% of black voters in Georgia report having a “poor” experience voting in the 2022 midterms, a notable showing after several years of Democratic politicians arguing that the state is working to suppress black votes.

Multiple left-wing politicians over the last several years have repeatedly voiced an extremist conspiracy theory that Georgia worked to bar nonwhite voters from easy access to the polls. In 2019, for instance, now-Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg claimed without evidence that “racially motivated patterns of voter suppression” were responsible for Stacey Abrams losing the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial race.

Those allegations have never been substantiated. In a poll this month, meanwhile, not a single black voter in Georgia reported having a “poor” experience voting in the state this past November.

The poll, published by the University of Georgia’s School of Public & International Affairs, asked respondents in part to “rate your overall experience voting in this election.”

Among black voters, more than 72% said “excellent,” 23% said “good,” just under 9% said “fair,” and 0% said “poor.”

Among Democratic voters, meanwhile, 71% reported an “excellent” experience, while 76% of Republican voters said the same.

Republican Brian Kemp won the state’s gubernatorial election, beating Stacey Abrams for a second time and by around seven percentage points.

Next question....who has some form of ID on them, or not? 100-percent will likely say they have some form of ID.

So the ‘lefty types’ were making stuff up on this issue.

Which does’t surprise me at all. You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.

They also claim that blacks are incapable of acquiring picture identification. I’d call that racist.

In other words, after years of Democrats calling Georgia black people “STUPID,” those black people prove that they aren’t.

In the face of this revelation, will Democrats continue calling black people “STUPID”?

And yet the truth will be completely ignored and the lying will continue unabated.

State ID is required to vote in GA although I think that U.S. Gov’t ID for Native Americans is accepted.

After all the howling by libs, the process is painless and quick. The bar code on the back of your ID is scanned, a printer spits out a form with your personal voter registration info, along with your picture and some info from your state ID. You sign the form, which is stored by local election officials. They hand you a card to unlock a voting machine in the next room, and off you go.

As far as mail-in, the actual voter has to request a mail-in ballot, fill out some forms, and provide ID. It’s a little slower than before, but it prevents ballot harvesting. About 15 out of 16 votes in the 2022 GA General Election were in-person.

Georgia needs a public apology from all who were talking about ‘Jim Crow’ laws. Record numbers turned out, and nobody, black, white, or otherwise had any trouble voting.

The process where we voted was slightly different, but it was still quick and painless. Our ID (driver’s license) was scanned, and we filled out and signed a short form with our full name and current mailing address. This was checked against a list of registered voters, and then we were given a card to insert into the voting machine. The process took less than a minute.
