Donald Trump Unveils Plans to ‘Save American Education’ from ‘Radical-Left Maniacs’

Former President Donald J. Trump on Thursday detailed his comprehensive education policy platform which aims to “restore power to American parents.” It includes plans to cut funding to schools and programs that push radical left-wing ideologies like “Critical Race Theory and gender ideology,” and keeping boys out girls’ sports.

Trump unveiled his “plan to save American education” by noting that “[o]ur public schools have been taken over by the radical left maniacs.”

First and foremost, Trump pledged tocut federal funding for any school or program pushing critical race theory, gender ideology, or other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content onto our children” and noted that he would direct the “Department[s] of Justice and Education to open civil rights investigations into any school district that has engaged in race-based discrimination.”

He then likened “Marxism being preached in our schools” to “an established religion” that is antithetical to the Judeo-Christian values that are deeply seeded in the fabric of western civilization.

“For this reason, my administration will aggressively pursue potential violations of the establishment clause and the free exercise clause of the constitution; that’s very simple,” Trump explained.

He continued:

Additionally, on day one, we will begin to find and remove the radical zealots and marxists who have infiltrated the federal Department of Education, and that also includes others, and you know who you are, because we are not going to allow anybody to hurt our children. Joe Biden has given these lunatics unchecked power. I will have them fired and escorted from the building,

“When I’m president, we will put parents back in charge and give them the final say. We will get back to teaching reading, writing, and math called arithmetic, and we will give our kids the high-quality, pro-American education they deserve,” Trump concluded.

This is leadership.

He does still need to refine his vax views and soften his views in drug dealing though.

Saving education would really be pretty simple.

1. All federal monies for education will be given directly to the parents as vouchers to spend on the school of choice for their children, provided that school meets state standards.

2. All state monies for education will be given to the parents as vouchers to spend on the school of their choice provided the school meets state standards.

3. Lastly is THE HAMMER. No federal monies will be given to any state least they also give their citizens vouchers for school choice from their state monies.

The problem with an over funded and unaccountable education system will then solve itself.

One thing that sets FreeRepublic apart is that JimRob has this strong (correct) opinion yet, he does not ban those Never-Trumpers from his platform.
They freely post as many times as they desire. Most of them are obvious Trolls. Claiming to be Conservative and pushing the Wall Street funded Desantis. He could easily banish those Divide and Conquer Trolls but, he does not.
His platform is an open Free Speech platform. He leaves it up to the members to hash things out.

It’s time to end wokeness in our schools. @realDonaldTrump wants to implement direct elections of school principals by the parents, as the ultimate form of local control.

I forgot to add. I live in a very conservative school district and am happy with it. It is over funded but always pleads for more funding. When one spends from public funds and not their own, their is no accountability. My post above has accountability. When a school must compete for vouchers from the parents it is good. When a school district can impose taxes on parents it is bad.

Well, he has to get back on Twitter. Nobody sees anything he posts on TS. TS is the worst. I’m on it and it’s got a 1/10 of the followers and they are all hardcore MAGA, Qanon, etc. He has to get out there and back on the platforms.

Many Republicans would agree with the voucher idea. But, a voucher system is a redistribution of wealth. Every school has a finite number of seats, so parents still would argue over whose kid gets into which school, and taxpayers would still be forced to fund schools that teach a curriculum they don’t like.

But, if most schools were private, and education were sold on the free market, and parents had to spend their own hardearned money for their children’s education, they would demand an even better education. And, if they didn’t approve of a school’s curriculum, they wouldn’t be forced to fund it through their taxes.

2. Teachers Unions - Outlawed.

3. School Boards - Deleted.

4. School Police forces - Fired.

5. Each school is responsible for meeting standards set by the state.
