I had a friend and one of her sons is always in trouble with drugs or heroin. He spent a lot of time in and out of jail then released. He has three kids now in the foster system, and is always fighting with Mexicans (drug deals) she said started it. Constant domestic quarrels. No job, (Mid 30s) sleeps over at his aunt’s house, and managed to knock up another woman. She thinks the police are to blame for his troubles. An enabler, and not much better. Couldn’t take the late night phone calls and drama, anymore.

Once when I went to jury duty, we were going through voir dire, and one woman said that she couldn't serve on the jury, because the presiding judge had put her son in jail. That woman was excused :-)
