Releasing these videos today just gives idiots like BLM and Antifa an excuse to rampage all weekend.
They wanted to wait for the population to leave schools, leave work, go home and settle down for dinner before they released the videos.
The figured: 1) get people off the streets so that potential rioters can't block roads to trap commuters as potential targets of violence, and 2) get students home so they're not already out in the urban centers where they can quickly gather and organize.
