Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has announced the introduction of the “Preventing Extreme Negligence with Classified Information Licenses” (PENCIL) Resolution, which looks to prevent Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) from receiving security clearances to classified information as well as launching an investigation by the House Ethics Committee.
The resolution would also have Rep. Schiff’s comments concerning the alleged Trump-Russia collusion “officially struck from the record.”
“Congressman Adam Schiff led the effort for years to weaponize lies from the Clinton campaign and a corrupt Department of Justice to smear President Trump while destroying any trust the country had left in America’s intelligence agencies,” said Rep. Gaetz in a press release.
“Speaker McCarthy kept his promise to remove Rep. Schiff from the Intelligence Committee, and with the PENCIL Resolution, we will express the sense of Congress that he should be barred from accessing any classified information at all. He can no longer be trusted by his colleagues in Congress or the American people,” said Rep. Gaetz.

They should be made to say that the record was false and why it was false, and put that in the record.
Makes sense, I’d also add some verbiage similar to “Eye’s Only” for classified material and below add “No Bulging Eyes”
Barring Schitf from planet Earth wouuld be better, however Ridicule of Pencil Neck in the PENCIL Resolution is a Huge Plus as he'll have to hear about it daily for the rest of his life.

I have only one qualm with McCarthy’s handling of this.
Instead of citing a general reason (dishonesty) for pencil neck’s dismissal, it would have been awe-inspiring to see every single instance of his Schiff’s skulduggery recounted—his imperious, preemptive domination of the impeachment hearings, the illegal access to Devin Nunes’s phone records, false allegations, partisan, secretive conspiring, suborning perjury from low ranking officials,leaking of discussions to the press, selective exposure or concealment of committee records for partisan political advantage, and so on.
It could have been epic and restorative.
If Matt Gaetz is serious about submitting this resolution for consideration, giving it a joke title will guarantee very few take it that way. This reads like something Don Jr. would post on Twitter, purely as parody.
Congress has become a useless joke.
Gaetz better buy his staff a round of drinks for that one!
The list of charges you submitted against Schiff (post#9) ought really be cited in a formal censure of his conduct and serial lying.
