My dad worked in a maximum security state prison. The black inmates begged to have the white guards handle their movements, discipline, and crisis issues. They were terrified of the black guards who were just mean for no reason.

As for my town Memphis, alternating loads of bird shot and buckshot are on the ready.

I recall a study from years ago that claimed that use of force incidents went up with the % of women on the force. The departments with the lowest use of force incidents were those with higher % of black males on the job. Don’t know if that’s true but that’s what my hazy memory brings up. It was supposedly all about compliance, people didn’t comply with women officers but did for black male officers at a much higher rate.

SWIM Told me that in Max security federal prisons that black prison staff would attempt to get black gang members particularly the DC blacks To attack white inmates they perceived to be racist and the black inmates response was there is no way we are going to attack the Aryan brotherhood to make you happy because the consequence is guaranteed to be murderous for themselves

Retaliation swift severe and guaranteed

There can be issues with Prison staff although quite a few are decent people just trying to do their job and these federal prisons pay very well and rural areas

Hopefully you will not have to get out and about this weekend. My family is telling me that LE are saying the video is really awful. My heart breaks for his family but especially his Mom. We absolutely will be keeping all you guys in our prayers.
