What they had in Iraq, that they don’t have in Ukraine is lots of training and support.
I went to college with a couple of Ukrainians. They were former U.S. Marines as well. When they enlisted they had to get waiver because of their criminal record. They were arrested for throwing red paint on the Russian legation to the U.N.’s building in New York. Their hatred for Russia was iridescent. I didn’t learn about Ukrainian dislike for Russia from wester MSM. I also know a few Estonians who would nuke Moscow, given the opportunity.

I can explain. Ukrainians are a former Russians themselves. Actually they are Malorosses vs Russians are Velikorosses. Velikoross(Great Russians) and Maloross(Small Russian) are the ancianet names of nations. Also there is a 3d nation Belorosses(White Russians) which are Belarus today.
Historical fact shorts.
In the beginning was one common ancient Rus from 8 century established by Vikings.
But in 13 century Rus was defeated by Mongols. SO the one nation was divided on 3 above.
Then after 400 years in 17 century Russians(Velikorosses) created Russian Empire which united under all 3 branch nations.
Then in 19 century there began a movement in Maloross emigres in Europe, for Ukraine and Ukrainians which have to be Malorosses renamed.
And in 1922 Soviets’ commies established the first state for Ukraine-UkSSR. And commies processed all Malorosses in UkSSR to Ukrainians by so called ukrainiasion process.
So Ukraine is only 100 years old now so as Ukrainians. They both are the commies creations. And they naturally hate other Rosses who kept their historical name and didn’t succumb to commies.
I’m not a fan of either side in this war, but there was an independent Ukrainian state after WWI. It was anti-Communist and was suppressed by Lenin and the Red Army.

It wasn’t a state as we know the term. It was actually a proclamation of some province a state during the ongoing civil war.
Of cause the power of those who kept rule in a whole country(commies in a time) prevailed in the war and made their proclamation void and null. But after the civil war commies established their own Ukraine: UkSSR. It is also a fact. But this one existed 100 years to now.

We need electric tanks with big Tesla Batteries to save the planet. We are sending too few and too many different types. This is like the American Civil War—The CSA had no chance without a Major European Powers help with men and material. Ukraine can not win with out US Troops (or German) boots on the ground. Thanks for the link. I stand corrected. The Abrams tank can take different kinds of fuel, not just jet fuel. According to that article, it is as easy to maintain as other tanks.
Alomost any low octane fuel will work. it needs to be clean and water free.
