I just heard on Fox News from Biden that the US was going to send 31 Abrams tanks.

Between Gulf War 91’, OIF, and since, I cant recall a hearing about a single Abrams tank ever having been lost in battle. Anyone know otherwise?

Probably the ones they took from the Marines. Marines gave up 450 tanks. The US has about 3,500 M1A1/A2 tanks in storage.

Like everything else Biden’s masters have done, they will be introduced in a way that makes no major difference, allows the Russians to fight them in a limited way, learn their strengths, learn their weaknesses, and probably capture a few.
all while slowly draining US supplies.
As someone said - these probably were taken from the US Marines.

(I cannot be sure for certain, but in my personal opinion I am certain that I am not sure.)

The only one I know of right off is an M1A1 (IIRC) that rolled past an Iraqi tank which was sitting still (perhaps camouflaged and idled). It drifted in front of the Iraqi (T-72?) which fired into the rear door killing the M1A1 crew.
At least that’s what I recall reading waaaaaaay back.
