Could F-16 fighter jets soon be screaming over Kharkiv or breaking the sound barrier as they tear through the skies above Zaporizhzhia?
It once seemed impossible, but now? Maybe not.
As the Western world looks to Germany for a decision over Leopard 2 tanks, it was from the Netherlands that a possibly more radical idea was floated: sending Western-made fighter planes to Kyiv for use by Ukrainian pilots.
The Dutch cabinet said will look into supplying F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine if the Kyiv government asks for them, the country's media have reported.

It can’t be that hard to simply put a bullet in Putin’s head. The only honorable goal here should be to stop the fighting. It think if Russia had a way out the world could scale down from the impending danger here.
I don’t think many people realize the danger were in when two sick loons have their fingers in the nuclear triggers.
These planes will need top gun USA pilots to enforce a No Fly Zone—to save Ukraine lives and hospitals. One F-16 better than any Mig Built. Victory for Ukraine and Biden! Russians will be withdrawing at the sight of a single Tiger tank and a few f-16s. 88 Super tanks, a squadron of F-16 will win the war for Democracy—so all of Europe can be like Brave Ukraine. The F-16 is primarily an interceptor, and not a particularly good ground attack fighter. Sure, it can be used in that role; but, it is not the best choice. How many Russian aircraft would it be intercepting? I don’t recall this being an air war.

Well they did manage it for 3,000 years. More, a lot more than can be said of any modern nation.
If Russia can hire mercenary Serbian infantry, why can't Ukraine hire recently retired American F-16 pilots?
I've venture that nearly every fighter pilot would kill to fly again, so to speak...
S400s cover almost all of Ukraine, but they solidly cover the eastern half.
How about we send them the Atomic Cannon? That would take care of so many problems, A few atomic shells would destroy the Ruzzian formations. One Nuke on Moscow and Russia would surrender to hero Ukraine! The USA should do:
1. Insist that Ukraine be made a member of NATO Today!
2. Ukraine must sign a treaty with the USA making her a protectorate of the USA like Porto Rico.
3. A law should be passed making all Ruzzians non-humans and locked away in camps.
4. The USA should sell Russian lands to China.
5. The USA should seize all Oil producing lands from Non-human Orks.
6. The USA should lead the world on the march to Moscow to change their Government to one more democratic like Ukraine.

The quickest way to end this war is for Russia to withdraw from Ukraine and Crimea.
The second quickest way to end the war is to bring Combined Arms with modern tanks APCs IFVs and fighters to bear on the antiquated, poorly supplied, and led Russian forces.
That means Leopards, MIs, Bradleys, Strikers, and F16s together with the Brigades now being trained on Combined Arms at troop and staff levels along with pieces already there like HARMs and HIMARS.
The only thing lacking is AC-130Js with which the Wagners have intimate knowledge from an encounter with an older version.
And setting up the logistical supply train is a huge undertaking,

Someone went off the deep end.
Perhaps the issue he has is with NATO. It has served only to cost us a great deal of money and to place our guys in harm’s way for the sake of someone else’s problems. Now that we bailed Europe out of WWII, rebuilt them from the ground up, what have any of those countries done for us? Nothing.
