I've been following things enough to know that any "international force" for Haiti will be led by the United States and Canada.

Both countries have been flying armored police vehicles to Haiti for use by the local police in conflict with gangs.

The notion of an international force in the cards for months the Caribbean nations were also being cajoled into helping.

Boy, Bill Clinton sure did a swell job of rebuilding Haiti after the earthquake.

Let’s match dollar for dollar the billions we’re shoveling to Zelenskyy. And Pakistan needs billions with that electric grid shutdown now. Just put it on the debt tab.😭🤪

If the nations most concerned about Haiti want to help remedy Haiti’s intransigent problems, they will first have to convince the Haitian people that it will take foreigners totally in charge of the country, with no elected leaders, for a generation at least. If outsiders then have the stomach and will to impose that on Haiti, they might succeed in giving Haiti back to its people in about 20 to 30 years.

Haiti should sell itself as a colony to a suitable 3rd party. Maybe for a 40 year management contract.

Singapore would be an ideal choice

I think the preference in Washington right now is for Russia and China to be given the rough treatment before anyone else.

In 1804, at the tail end of the Haitian Revolution, the blacks went house to house killing every white person in Haiti. Men, women, children, babies, they killed them all.

They have been damned ever since.

The average Haitian IQ is not high enough to sustain a modern civilization.

Ban the Clintons from all contact and business with Haiti and conditions there are bound to improve a few degrees.

Yup. Haiti needs to be re-colonized. UN should put France or someone in charge for a couple generations. Impose a legal structure, establish property rights, kill or drive out the gangs running things now. Create a meaningful police force. Puncture the fiction that they have been “self-governing.” The boys in Lord of the Flies did a better job than these yokels.

“...Haiti should be nuked...”

The biggest problem with Haiti is that there are too many Haitians. 11 million of them packed on that small island.

It’s pretty much the same anywhere there are too many people crammed like sardines on a territory with scarce resources.
