Reminds me of the 1980s when liberals scared their children with tales of "Ronald Reagan is going to cause WWIII and we're all going to die in a nuclear holocaust."
Yeah, I remember my older sister, a very smart person I might add who never got a grade below an A throughout her school years from kindergarten through her PHD, making that very claim. It evoked a hearty belly-laugh from me.
Exactly what I stated yesterday.
Recall all the children who were scared of nuclear war?
Our youngest of all the cousins was very young then and said she was worried about nuclear war.
I’m worried about her, being pretty artsy liberal. Cannot understand how she got that way, being rural and her parents definitely not liberals.
If that doesn’t show the influence of media and school, I don’t know what does.
I clearly recall a lutheran pastor who reported with unmistakeable pride that his kid would have an anxiety attack whenever he saw a Cape Canaveral launch on the evening news. What kind of Christian would traumatize their child that way.

Air raid sirens (usually everyday at noon), buildings with prominent signage designating fall out shelters, Cuban missile crisis with missiles on the coast of Florida.
Missile silos with nuclear war heads at the ready, B52 bombers armed with nuclear warheads at the ready (SAC bases), jets frequently breaking the sound barrier, nuclear bomb testing in the atmosphere, nuclear bomb blasts visible from the Las Vegas strip, to only name a few scary years growing up under Democrat Presidents
