Authorities are working to figure out why a 67-year-old man may have killed seven people in a small coastal city near San Francisco – the third mass shooting to stun California in as many days and one that left’s another Asian American community reeling.

Just hours after the suspect in Monday’s attacks in Half Moon Bay, Chunli Zhao, was taken into in custody while parked at a sheriff’s substation with a semi-automatic handgun in his vehicle, someone else was killed and seven people injured in a spray of bullets along a road in Oakland, the San Mateo sheriff and Oakland police said.

It's simple statistics, the same as for bank robberies. The reason criminals rob banks, is because that's where the money is. That's the same reason Asian-on-Asian crime happens in Asian communities, is that's where the Asians are. It's also the reason why black-on-black crime happens in black communities. The decade or so after WW2 was definitely a prosperous, glorious era for the United States. "Made In The USA" was a trademark coveted around the world.

The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:
1. from bondage to spiritual faith;
2. from spiritual faith to great courage;
3. from courage to liberty;
4. from liberty to abundance;
5. from abundance to complacency;
6. from complacency to apathy;
7. from apathy to dependence;
8. from dependence back into bondage'

I saw numbers 5 through 7. After the war, the Greatest Generation realized prosperity never seen in history. And they wanted their children to have everything they never had. The GG spoiled their children, the baby boomers. Also, the GG grew up on farms and had a solid work ethic. The BB grew up in the suburbs with nothing much to do except play. That made them spoiled and lazy. Hence, numbers 7b and 8a.

IMO, we're hurtling toward 8b. And it's not going to be what liberals think. They're thinking the Nanny State will care for them. But the Nanny State is going to exterminate them.
