[Our country is being systematically destroyed by Globalists, that’s what going on.]
No other conclusion can be reached, unfortunately.
And just less than two month ago, there was in OK a Chinese guy shot 4 workers at a legal pot farm.
Ancient Chinese secret.
Pot farm? Maybe he was mad they were out of pot stickers.
I guess that is an inside joke for Chinese cooks?
Are you joking? Dale Carnegie didn’t literally punch Rodney Dangerfield in the kisser,...right? Of all people.
the DM article says he was arrested at a ‘house estate’ but Newsweek says he was in the parking lot of a PD substation:
“Officers arrested a suspect, 67-year-old Chunli Zhao, after they found him in his car in the parking lot of a sheriff’s substation, San Mateo County Sheriff Christina Corpus said during a news conference.”
Is this part of the asian Lunar New Year where old problems are ended so as to start the new year with a clean slate? Although starting it with a clean slate probably isn’t supposed to involve a jail cell.
That’s incorrect- it was Bing Crosby that punched him.
I never heard about that, either.
Bing was known as Mr.Cool and Easy.
Later on though, people found out about his mean streak, especially after a few drinks.
neither ever happened - just FR sarcasm
Most likely, they somehow insulted him and he took revenge for it
No, the : after the name meant I wanted to quote Rodney Dangerfield about someone else.
Whole name is Vietnamese. Tran is the vietnamese spelling of Chun, a Chinese name but almost all surnames of the Viet majority population are Chinese derived. Huu is purely VIetnamese. Chinese is not written in western characters so names and words are transliterated Tran and Chun sound the same spoken.
Ancient Chinese secret, huh?
CC
Trần Huu Can.
Vietnamese Names are almost all Chinese (Pu Tông Hoa) derived. Some are older Chinese and do not correspond exactly, most do. It is more likely that he is Chinese given the circumstances of the shooting, the shootees all being Chinese. Chinese and Việt -Americans mostly don’t mix where there are longstanding Chinese communities- China towns as it were. Where I am, the ethnic Chinese who left Việt Nam as refugees all became Vietnamese on this side of the ocean and dropped their language. Vietnamese Chinese, like Overseas Chinese throughout Asia all learned multiple languages while growing up and dropping the original is easy. They are here a single community.
“Miles to go, Chun. Miles to go.”
Yes. You’re absolutely correct.
But again, he’s Chinese. His name is 陳友艮。Chen Yougen in Mandarin.
Trần Huu Can in Vietnamese, as you point out.
How he came to have the Vietnamese spelling, I don’t know, but it’s easy to speculate.
