Seven Chinese farm workers have been shot and killed in the San Francisco Bay area, with the 67-year-old suspect, Zhao Chunli, arrested shortly after.
The shootings took place at two separate locations in Half Moon Bay, with four shot at a farm ran by Concord Farms, and three at Mountain Mushroom Farms two miles away.
ABC7 News confirmed that the suspect was an employee at one of the mushroom farms where the shooting took place, and all victims were co-workers.
Dramatic footage from ABC News shows the moment Zhao was taken into custody, in a house estate in San Mateo County.
The killings come less than 48 hours after 72-year-old Huu Can Tran shot and killed 11 people celebrating Lunar New Year in Monterey Park, near Los Angeles.

I start to wonder if all this has anything to dow ith something going on in China except that the shooter at Monterey Park appears to be Vietnamese.
hospitals rate people as "middle age" up to age 65....
I don't know what's going on with these asians that they are killing their own.....
But the lockdowns and upheavals since sure have lots of people on the edge.
And in CA, state with some of the most draconian gun laws.
The name Tran in Vietnamese print would be Trần and is the Vietnamese version of the Chinese name that would be transliterated Chun. They are pronounced the same- both “Chun.”
Check both of their proscription medications.

I have an odd question:
Has there been something recently in the media to put this scenario into peoples minds?
Has there been a show on cable or Netflix picturing a lone Asian adult butchering other Asians, many who never met the assailant? Some people are extremely suggestable, and are just one triggering thought away from acting out a violent thought.
This is one reason I was never a fan of TV shows such as Dexter, which lasted for 8 seasons.
I always thought it rather ghoulish and unhealthy for the general public.
Someone posted that he was from China, however.
There have been horror films about controlling or affecting people through television.

Reflecting on the Vietnamese community hereabouts, that is entirely possible. About half of the original refugees that came after 75 and through the 80s were ethnic Chinese. While the two communities in VN didn’t like each other very much those Chinese who came here with the refugees “became” Vietnamese and were accepted as such by the Kinh (the majority Vietnamese people). And they would have redone their names in Vietnamese script.
Well he looks like a super pleasant dude.
I am wondering if there is a heavy Taiwanese presence in this part of California. Perhaps some CCP agents?
