Read The Adam and Eve Stroy by Chan Thomas.

He theorized that when the core reversed it would cause (1) the magnetic poles to shift and (2) the outer crust to shift and then stop moving.

Unfortunately, the atmosphere and water in the oceans will not stop moving. They will continue to move at their present 1,000 miles per hour speed.

Every point on Earth will experience 1,000 mph winds. The water will leave the ocean and flow across the continents--also at 1,000 mph--and will be several miles deep.

All of this will happen in a matter of an hour. Civilization will be wiped clean off the face of the Earth. Only a few people might survive, but they will be knocked back to the stone age.

Chan Thomas theorizes this has happened before. That civilization has risen and been wiped out multiple times.

Will the wave come from the west, East north or south. I want to see it before it hits me.

1000 mph winds and water at the equator. At 45 degrees north and south at 500 mph, and at the poles, zero. IF it were to suddenly stop, which would need an equal and opposite force, which would likely blow the whole thing to smithereens.
