Steve Bannon may already be picking sides in a potential 2024 Republican presidential race between Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis.
This past weekend Bannon, the one-time close adviser and confidant of Trump, touted an appearance made by the Florida governor at a postseason NFL game. While praising who many in the GOP believe could be the next president, Bannon also expressed disdain towards his former boss closely unifying with Senator Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina Republican.
"I have no earthly idea why [Graham's] around [former] President Trump," Bannon said regarding Trump's campaign event on his War Room program. "He's a cancer. He is a cancer, that's metastasizing. President Trump's gotta be warned. There's nothing good that comes from having [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell's mini-me, the snake, Lindsey Graham around you at all."
Meanwhile, Bannon also posted on his Gettr account the "great reception" DeSantis received on Saturday while at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Jacksonville Jaguars in a playoff game. A video circulated on Twitter of a casually-dressed DeSantis walking on the field before the game, shaking hands with fans of different teams.

Ole Bannon is just following the latest shiny object...oh and he gets more clicks and listeners. He plays the crowd...and ads to his bank account.
And Trump is having a rally with Lindsey Graham who will be endorsing him.

Lindsay Graham does whatever he thinks will benefit Lindsay, or get him media coverage, in the moment. He has no core beliefs and principles. He is a lesser clone of his mentor John McCain.
Lindsay’s current lean toward Trump will evaporate in a heartbeat if Lindsay sees and advantage somewhere else. In 2016, Bannon became the chief executive officer of Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, and was appointed chief strategist and senior counselor to the president following Trump’s election.
Perhaps, but Trump could’ve taken his endorsement when it came but he also chose to invite him to the rally. Trump likes many swamp critters.

I eased up some and forgave him for apologizing and continual supporting Trump, but now that gnawing feeling in my lower back tells me I was right, he is a back stabber.
Plus, I hate Brietbart’s site, too many adds, and it's a headache to get around them. Slows everything down.
Steve Bannon was just stating the obvious. Trump should stay far away from Lindsey “The Snake” Graham and DeSantis got a great reception.
Including one young boy in Kansas City Chiefs' garb clearly shouting to Governor DeSantis, "Run for president! Run for president!"
