Former President Donald Trump has opened a clear lead over President Joe Biden in a new Harvard-Harris 2024 poll.

Trump at 46 percent leads Biden’s 41 percent in the survey, with 13 percent who said they were unsure.

Trump also leads Vice President Kamala Harris by even more, with Trump at 48 percent, Harris at 40 percent, and 12 percent undecided.

🇺🇲 2024 Presidential Election Poll:

(R) Trump: 46% (+5)
(D) Biden: 41%

(R) Trump: 48% (+8)
(D) Harris: 40%
.
(R) DeSantis: 42% (+3)
(D) Biden: 39%

(R) DeSantis: 43% (+3)
(D) Harris: 40%

It is also worth noting that Trump is outperforming Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in both hypothetical contests, against either Biden or Harris. While DeSantis still also leads both, he leads by less in each instance. Against Biden, DeSantis leads by just three percent—with 42 percent to Biden’s 39 percent and 18 percent undecided—and against Harris, DeSantis also only leads by three percent, 43 percent to 40 percent with 17 percent undecided.

In the GOP primary, Trump has a 20-percent lead over DeSantis as well, at 48 percent to DeSantis at 28 percent. No other candidate gets double digits in this survey, with former Vice President Mike Pence coming in at seven percent, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley at three percent, and Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Tim Scott (R-SC), and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo each at one percent, while two percent said someone else and six percent are unsure.

In a head-to-head matchup with DeSantis, Trump still leads by double digits—55 percent to 45 percent. In a head-to-head matchup between Trump and Scott, the senator from South Carolina, Trump leads by 50 points

For those of you supporting the "Suicide" option of the GOP to "fix" Social Security by cutting benefits, you might want to pay attention to one of the questions posed in this poll and the support it got:

When asked questions on what things Congress should pass this year, 85 percent of survey respondents said they wanted a measure to protect Social Security for the next two decades to pass Congress. Only 15 percent said they did not want such a measure. That is far higher than the support, for instance, for a measure repealing the hiring of 87,000 IRS agents, which while still at majority support, got 59 percent of respondents to back it with 41 percent opposed.

Worth noting that the rule on FR is that all polls are bogus, therefore Biden is crushing Trump in reality.

Desantis is the NeverTrump/Uniparty/Globalist selection to stop Trump on the right side for 2024... Doubt it will work.

I don’t see Trump not winning the primary.

We shall see how it goes.

It’s also worth noting that they will lie cheat steal and destroy the country rather than let Trump near the white house agajn.

40% of Biden’s approval is built-in morons. He’s trying to increase that built-in percentage to 45.

Until mail in voting, vote harvesting is straightened out, forget R’s winning, unless it’s to set them up to be the fall guy for the economy, or some big disaster.

I can’t understand the ≈ 40% that still support what is going on given the destruction of this country by the Biden admin.

Anyone who votes Democrat must enjoy raging inflation, high gas prices, high cost of housing, an open southern border with 5 million destitute illegals flowing across, along with fentanyl - with calls for more taxation to support it all.

I get the parasitic class which votes Dem no matter what, along with White lefties and blacks - but does that account for 40% support?

Unless and until vote fraud is cleaned up the same will happen in 2024 that happened in 2020 with the Dems claiming the “fairest and freest election ever.”

Trump’s going to run and he’s going to win - it will be beyond the margin of fraud. The economy is going to go into the tank this year. That’s going to hurt Democrats even more than their already lousy poll numbers.

Your polls mean jackchit. The number of unrequested, mail in banana republic ballots flooding the post offices is all that counts in thurd world countries like this one. The elections here are nothing but a joke. Just like the “polls.” The democrats and their government toadies will tell you who is going to win.

As long as the Dems have THE CHEAT, it won’t matter what the polls say.

Partner, "Legacy Media" is feeding us a bunch of "Bravo Sierra"

The MSM does not know what to do since the MSM decided to say that there is no problem in the great city of Atlanta, Georgia.

Biden and Harris’ piss-poor performance and this recent poll clearly shows WHY MSM, Democrats, the DNC et al are hammering Biden on his MULTIPLE locations/instances of personally-held highly classified documents in UNSECURE locations.

Their goal is to force Biden to retire at the end of this term and not run. Also envisioned is opening up the slate and crowding out Harris as a 2024 Democrat contender.

In essence, BOTH Biden AND Harris have been weighed and measured and found wanting.
