Many ARVN vets made it here and don’t think they get the support that most American vets of the war get even in their own community.I knew a former VNAF C-130 pilot, in California. By then, he was an electronic repair technician. He told me he knew VC and North Vietnamese army troops in California too. I have no clue, if this had anything whatsoever to do with this situation or not.

We hired a former Vietnamese fighter pilot as a software engineer on one of my projects. It was a curious mix for the contract. Software engineers that are also licensed pilots. We were building a mission planning system for the UK RAF. It was a good decision to have people with hands-on flying experience.
