I think Russia is about to start a major offense within a week or 2. They already have moved the lines a few clicks the last couple days. Russian troops are at the Belarus border in strength too. Bakhmut will be surrounded soon. I hope the Ukraine troops get out of there because Wagner doesnt seem to bother with POW’s.

Just like we heard US "advisers" were fighting/dying in Vietnam.
In this case the Russian troops are more analogous to the 500,000 troops we had in Vietnam.
But neither analogy is exact.
I know the Ukrainians will get 70,000 mechanized troops in May.
Russia may may want to make moves before those troops arrive.
OTOH it sounds like the Ukrainians want to advance now and we’re telling them to wait.

Ukraine can’t win no matter how much money and weaponry you give them. The US Gov knows this. Everybody knows this, except some of the propaganda consumers.

You read about ONE guy who had been a SEAL years ago, who had gone AWOL many years ago and had lost his Trident because of that, and then went to Ukraine to fight and was killed this past week.
Also, “Special Forces” is the official name of the Army’s ‘green berets’.

If he “had been a SEAL years ago,” how is it he’s “AWOL?”
He’s either a private contractor acting as a private citizen or he’s active duty “AWOL.”
You can’t have it both ways.
At first I thought “Oh, its the former Ukraine Ambassador to Washington....”
Then after a second, I thought: “No, Ukrainians, even in their propaganda are for more measured and respectful of their audience’s intelligence. To be so ridiculously stupid. its got to be a DC neocon flunkie....”
