Assault weapons in Illinois walk on 2 legs, live in Chicago and Rockford and Aurora and the Illinois suburbs of St. Louis. They are featured nightly on the local news in those areas, after doing something bad enough to make the news reports .

The state is doing nothing to to ban these real assault weapons, preferring to deal with the magic guns who cross state lines into Illinois by themselves, and pull their own triggers.
