On Tuesday, New York magazine published a looooooong hit piece on what a horrible boss Elon Musk supposedly is at Twitter yet the biggest revelation was its admission that it favors censorship. This admission by the authors Zoë Schiffer, Casey Newton, and Alex Heath appeared in "Twitter’s staff spent years trying to protect the platform against impulsive ranting billionaires — then one made himself the CEO."
Before getting around to slamming Musk, the New York authors celebrated the early free speech era of Twitter before absurdly claiming it was somehow ruined by Orange Man Bad.

NY Magazine also did the hit piece on Bob Grant in 1994.
Their inner totalitarian always bubbles to the surface eventually.
I saw a newcaster on a cable business channel try to claim that the Holocaust was caused by Hitler’s ability to say what he wanted to without being officially censored, and therefor was not some cenorship of “misinformation” warranted.
She missed the truth, in part ignoring that the first moves Hitler made was to censor everyone and particularly those that were against him, and that his rise was not due to lack of censorship but lack of sufficient voices against him. The latter point was in part was due to the level of existing antisemitism that Hitler played into.
Musk is such a horrible boss, . Like Trump he expects people to work, meet deadlines, and act as trusted team players who get the job done.(sarc.)
Such things are not important to the editors of the New York Magazine.

The Left ALWAYS favors censorship when it supports their side, as can be seen here, when the Leftists want people opposing US involvement in Ukraine to be SILENCED.
New York magazine is a filthy leftist rag. My only question is, why did it take them so long?
All “mainstream” media favor censorship.
It’s truly sad that the chief beneficiaries of the first amendment want to restrict it.
