"They" want him out soon, so the chance they let the Constitution stand in the way is remote.

Note that under the 25th Amendment, if the president leaves office, the new vice-president must be confirmed by a majority of both the House and the Senate.
Thus the cackler would automatically become president but if the spineless Republicans decided to do their job, the new vice president could be a very interesting choice. I’m of the opinion that just like they’ve done with liberal judges for the last 50 years, the Republicans will bend over and grab their ankles
