The White House on Wednesday expressed shock at the arrest of a former GOP candidate in New Mexico in connection with shootings targeting the homes of state Democratic officials, calling it an illustration of the dangers of conspiracies and political violence.

“The allegations here are shocking and horrifying, and it’s a miracle here no one was hurt,” said press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. “The president has spoken out repeatedly and emphatically about how our nation rejects violence as a political tool. That is a bedrock principle of our democracy.”

I may have told this story before, but on a tour of some Mayan ruins, I asked the guide, who was obviously local, what really happened (as in, why was the Mayan civilization gone largely before the Spanish arrived). His response, without hesitation: the commoners got tired of the priests and nobility, slaughtered them, then walked off to live their lives.

Might be why reports of Hillary gasping in horror at what happened in Benghazi are likely accurate.

A good argument for the futility of "elections" to change anything in New Mexico. So, what is left when all the other boxes are gone too (soapbox, jury box, ballot box)?

I am unimpressed by the professed "shock and outrage" of the Democrats over this incident. They know what is coming. They are preparing for it too. What they are not going to do is fix the problems caused by their unchecked political powers and their abuse of them.

I find the FBI classification of parents who attend school board meetings who care about exposing their children rape and child mutilation, as terrorists to put them on some watch list to surveil, and then to expose them to cancel culture via accidental leaks to the violent antifa types who work for them... also quite troubling.

Who does our constitution authorize with and enumerated right to be acting like the feds do with such unholy impunity? NOT the government.
