Connecticut Democrats are working to lower the physical fitness requirements for female firefighters, saying that less onerous standards will make fire departments "more diverse."
A law introduced earlier this month in the Connecticut State Assembly would let women skip the Candidate Physical Ability Test, a timed gauntlet used by fire departments across the country. The test, which only 10 to 15 percent of women pass, requires candidates to complete intense physical tasks while wearing a 50 pound vest. It’s designed to simulate the experience of navigating a fire in heavy gear—and to weed out those unable to do so.
The law, introduced by five Democratic lawmakers, would offer women an alternative test based on "revised physical standards," with the goal of ensuring that "additional female candidates" qualify for firefighter positions, text from the bill states.

At this point we’ve become a parody of a parody.
The question that is pertinent is: "Could she kick some criminal's ass?". Or more simply: "Did she pass the same physical qualification tests required for the men on her team?". Most women cannot pass such tests and should not be in those positions if the tests are truly reflecting of job requirements.
Fighting activity is an objective test that is unforgiving of lower standards and has requirements which are not politically correct according to the current Narrative(tm).
Ignoring this gets people injured or killed.

Yes, I can see the utility of having women working for the police. But as firefighters, what is the point? I imagine dwarfs, the blind and amputees are underrepresented in the fire stations as well, why not lower standards for them as well, in the name of inclusion and equity?

To anyone who disagrees and wants to ask me whether I was in the police or a swat team, I'm not going to tell you. If you don't like women serving along side of men, then get off your tails and do something about it instead of attacking me over it.

Of course that's easy to post on the Internet, but when it comes around to actually doing something about it, nothing. That's because men are too whipped to do anything that might offend whoever it is they want to stick it into.
Until men can meet the same standards as women when it comes to standing up for your rights, none of this will change.
