The White House sent its letter to Jordan at 4:34 a.m. on December 29. Politico published a story about the letter 26 minutes later, at 5:00 a.m., and reached out to the Judiciary Committee for comment on it after the story was published, per a statement the committee made at the time.

That chain of events “severely undercut[s]” the White House’s pledge to work in “good faith” with the committee, Jordan wrote.

What can Congress do about it?

The only reason the demonrat congress got so much traction is the almost omnipotent Establishment media acts as their propaganda organ.

Then what?

Do you think the DoJ will do anything about it?

Not hardly.

Repukes are too spineless to actually do something beyond a strong worded letter. Expect Nothing, because all you’re going to get is hot air.

Contempt charges have no teeth unless you refer it to the DOJ for criminal charges and only if the DOJ isn’t a lacky for that political party

With a slim House majority effective options are slim to none. Will they even respond to a subpoena? We are dealing with hardcore commies. Public disclosure and shaming are about all there is.

And that shaming will not be noticed by the masses.

Since the GOPe is a toothless tiger by design, exactly what real leverage does the fraudulent “opposition party” have? The GOP could have saved the country the catastrophe that is the Biden Regime if they just tried to stop the steal in 2020. But NO! they had to conspire to fuck over President Trump and all his supporters. BOTTOM LINE! NOT IMPRESSED!

Actually, with contempt of congress, they do not have to rely on the DOJ. The Sergeant-at-Arms of the House or Senate makes the arrest and drags the person before the appropriate body. Though I don’t think they can charge the President with contempt of congress, since he has immunity.

Congress has a chance now to put a big crimp on Biden’s spending it’s the only tool they have for now.

Time for them to learn the art of the deal.

Yep, they can shut down the government, which would be nice.

Right.

What happened to Eric Holder?

You forget that we have two different systems of justice. One for the politically correct and one for the rest of us.
