I really dislike laws that assume different ages for consent/accountability.
12 for vaccines? 16 for sexual and to drive? 18 to get drafted, sign contracts? 15 to abort your child? 14 to take hormone blockers? 16 year old “tried as an adult?” 21 to drink?
Adult should mean adult. 18 works for me, and Romeo/Juliet works for me, too. Otherwise, if you want to be treated as an adult, sue to become an emancipated minor. Otherwise, you are a minor and not making adult decisions (nor do you have adult liability).
Why not sex, too? If a kid that young can elect to get a vaccine or elect to pretend he or she is the other sex, then why do we have pedo laws at all?
Glad to see this- why?? Because Connecticut was dumb enough to vote these morons into office and they knew what was coming. My only hopes are the kids who get these shots without parental knowledge are parents who voted for Da Nag Dick Blumenthal, etc
