You are absolutely correct, except for stating that the GOP has been checkmated. The reality is that they are working in concert with the communist movement, or more accurately a vast number of them are.

Like the communist march through our culture, both political parties were also included in that march. They were just as involved in stopping Joseph McCarthy as were the Democrats. Otherwise, McCarthy would not have been as vilified as he was.
