I’m not a fan of career politicians, but it’s painful to see the stupid, tone-deaf, amateurish mistakes some of these unconventional candidates have made in recent years.
I was hoping Kari Lake would win. Hell, I was hoping all of Trump's picks would've won. That would've set him up pretty good going into 2024 and I'd definitely be singing a different tune regarding his viability.
Alas, it was not to be.
All Lake had to do was close the deal the AZ's McCain Republicans and independents. Instead, she campaigned with Bannon.
Twitter rumor (FWIW) is that Lake might be eyeing AZ's senate election in '24. In a three-way race between Sinema (I) and Ruben Gallegos (D), she might actually be able to pull it off, if she can take what she learned from her gov. race and make some changes.
