I wasn’t commenting on a savage act of murder. I was suggesting, as we have seen in the past many times if we have been paying attention, that a truly hard case is being used to whittle away at our freedom. What is the point of this article if it is not an activist attempt to redefine (down) “stalking”?

Talblack, your arrow hits more closely to the mark of my post above-if we allow a faceless, unaccountable, ungovernable entity to make choices on our behalf and take our freedom away, there is a risk:

The risk is that people with power may be more interested in controlling us than doing things that “protect us from ourselves”.
