Speaker McCarthy, this is your wake up call, don’t screw it up.
They are trying to use issuance of credit like it was gold and silver money.
Most people of a certain age still are getting excited about “Social Security trust funds” and the government “running out of money”.
There hasn’t been an honest budget since the 1980s, maybe before.
The hard cold fact is that the money’s no good, it’s going to blow up, and everyine is going to suffer for a while.
Let’s see if House Republicans can muster up the will to simply say, “No. What are you, crazy?”
Not enough.

Lower the debt ceiling, don’t raise it.
Put the government on a real budget.

If Biden hadn't signed Pelosi's unconstitutional, unaccountable, 4,155 page omnibus spending bill, then not only would debt ceiling be a slightly less concern, but there would be one less reason for the House to impeach him imo.

The bottom line is that patriots need to start making noise about ALL the states effectively "seceding" from the unconstitutionally big federal government by working with their MAGA state lawmakers to repeal the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments (16&17A).
If the repeal 16&17A amendment were strictly limited to that purpose, then relatively little, or ideally no discussion would be needed before ratification imo.
Why not just increase the ceiling to $1 Quadrillion and be done with it. Send everyone in the country a check for $1 million. We’ve already fallen over the cliff so any more damage is irrelevant at this point.

2. Raise debt ceiling.
3. Raise taxes (BY FAR THE WORST CHOICE).
Remove irs agents money
Remove all green crap
Remove all car spy crap
Remove all congress raises
Remove all Illegal funding
Demand a wall
Demand all illegal asylum stuff from trump but back in place
Remove all funds for illegals for social security and mcaid
No mcaid increases .
leave with or we default.
