And how do you know the perp doesn’t have another weapon concealed in his jacket? it’s happened before. So you don’t know for sure the threat was “neutralized”. Under Texas law as I understand it, when the thug started robbing costumers, any protections against “excessive shots” essentially goes out the window. Basically, you’re at the mercy of the self defense shooter.

If he acted within Texas law, great! The video shows him shooting 8 shots, pausing, walking up to a still body, and putting one in the guy’s skull. If Texas allows that, give the guy a medal. If not, he should’ve stopped at 8.

Elsie, you are the one with issues with the way you edited that post to make it sound like I was merely mentioning driving an old vehicle as indicating a possible history of violence.

You should have quoted the entire sentence.
