You have been implying that Sasse will be able to maintain his “conservative” status and be successful in Gainesville. I think at best he will butt heads, many many heads, and if he isn’t butting heads, then he isn’t as conservative as you think he is.
I am surprised he’s even been given a shot at UF. To me, that indicates that he’s “woke” enough.

You don’t have to. Just go listen to DeSantis’ inauguration speech and put the moves into the big picture. Sasse is going to UF because he is principled and won’t go woke.

I think Sasse is conservative. His dislike of Trump I think is due to intellectual snobbery. I believe he came from the academy it’s where he should have stayed.
