Russian forces have cut the main north-south highway, that was a supply link for Ukraine forces, north of Bakhmut [Ukraine].

Soledar to the north of that Russian break-through, is in danger of complete encirclement.

It sounds like Wagner sent its troops into open positions that they can't expect to hold, and this is being trumpeted in Russia as a break through for Orthodox Christmas feel good propaganda.

Possibly, Wagner Force plays a propaganda game, by advancing a recon team to an advanced position, where they make a video recording and/or take pictures that establish that position’s geo.coordinates.

And then the team retreats; but the retreat part is not told.

The advanced position is told online, in order to discourage Ukraine troops.

I don't doubt that Wagner sent a large number of its troops around Soledar. The timing of this around Orthodox Christmas may have caught the Ukies by surprise. Whether they took the whole town, or just advanced from the outskirts is unclear. What is being reported is that the advancing Wagner troops suffered horrible loses for their gains, which they may not be able to keep because they are in very exposed positions.

I’d like to hear what are you going to say in ten years when the US will be at war with Mexican factions, Russia and China are going to arm them to the teeth, and most of the rest of the world is going to cheer the and support in every possible way.
