US Natural Gas futures prices are really low. They are in the $3.00 range while in 2022 they were up to the $9.00 range. I think games are being played.

Who wants to invest in something that is hassled and prohibited by the politicians in charge? If it effectively cannot be produced, cannot be transported if produced, cannot be sold if transported....how do you get your mpney back?

I’m no expert. But prices are low for any product that has no way to make money.

(I’ll sell you the Brookly bride real cheap.)

Over the last 10-15 years, voters and/or political leaders in New England have blocked several major projects to build new or expanded pipelines up there from the Marcellus and Utica gas deposits in Pennsylvania.

I don’t care if those morons freeze to death and bankrupt themselves paying utility bills.

I tried to find info on oil and gas in New England, The link below shows the boundaries of the Appalacian oil and gas area. It is not in New England at all. It does cover much of New York. This map did not label dark and red spots inside the western side of the Appalacian border, but on another map these spots were identified as oil and gas, and some are in New York.
