The more well-to-do are just inconvenienced by the higher prices and the less well-to-do are getting welfare money.
Also I’m afraid a lot of people don’t care much about the border, FBI intimidation, Afghanastan, etc.
They obviously don’t live in illannoy...the melanoma of the midwest.
I wish I did...for lots of reasons :-)

The news is that 8% more people were somewhat optimistic than last year. 34% is still not a great showing, especially considering they probably polled the news room.
A couple of things:
Joe has been keeping a lower profile.
A Republican congress opened for business

holy moly- that is insane- went to buy an avocado the other day- 3 dollars for 1? Nope- prices are nuts right now

Last time I bought one they were $ 1 and I thought that was high! I’ve read it’s because CA has banned trucks older than 2010 which has put a bite on a lot of the produce growers.
It’ll likely,get worse too when their climate laws rules regulations and fines and credits fully kick in, raising the price of everything even higher.
