I noticed diesel price was super sky high. Truckers need to stop DC deliveries until Obama’s diesel tax plan is repealed. Everything from your shoestring, coffee, keys, and the raw materials to make it spent significant time in a truck from raw ,arterials, manufacturing, finishing and distribution.
Don’t celebrate yet. This is the usual kabuki theater.

Fortunately, I live in a rural area along with a lot of other natural living, gone Galt folks-we barter with each other for free range eggs, fresh herbs and produce-even chickens-the price of eggs is going up in the grocery store again-I did notice that-but chicken wasn’t up as long as it was in-state free range-only the big name brands like Tyson were up...

Diesel was $4.02 at the station where I filled up yesterday-is right at the intersection with the state highway and the Farm rd that goes within 3 miles of my neighborhood. Several of my neighbors are independent owner/operator long haul truckers, and they are not thrilled about what is going on-it is raising their operating costs...

The poor (both working poor and welfare poor) are the ones heaviest hit by inflation of food, energy, housing (which is where inflation is highest.)
Some poor are very much aware of this. Some poor are not.
Most are not aware of the role of “Enviromental” edicts and the American Rescue Plan in creating this inflation.
They are either ignored, or villified, by the fiscally responsible Republicans who are their natual allies.
They give up. What’s the price of weed or meth is now the concern of those who give up.
It was almost $5 a gallon in TN today. I drove for a few months.. it’s now a low paying job. Inow that CA has banned trucks older than 2010… its just “big trucking” that benefits.
