Trump has obviously, and unfairly been persecuted multiple times now. However, a choir boy he is not. Not that he has to be.
Charge him already!
They may, to try to topple his support. Or, they may not, knowing his support could actually grow if they do.
I expect they will, along the lines of the relatively minor "interrupting a public proceeding" charge, that some will argue in the media equates to an insurrection charge, even though they are obviously different.
At that point, me may just accept the charge and pay a fine to make it all go away, leaving them only with the talking point of his "conviction."
Just guesses of course, but I don't think after all this they don't charge at least something. If they don't, he would then have to be sort of looked at like Ray Epps.

sought to charge him with. There’s just no ‘There’
