Officials in Arizona's largest count have launched an investigation into significant issues reported with election center printers during the 2022 midterm elections.
Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman Bill Gates and Vice Chairman Clint Hickman announced Friday the investigation via a statement released on Twitter.
“This Board of Supervisors has always been committed to continuous improvement. When things don’t work, we find out why,” the statement said.
The two chairs said former Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice Ruth McGregor will lead the inquiry.
“Justice McGregor will hire a team of independent experts to find out why the printers that read ballots well in the August Primary had trouble reading some ballots while using the same settings in the November General,” the statement said. “Our voters deserve nothing less. Maricopa County appreciates Justice McGregor’s willingness to serve in this role. We look forward to her findings.”

Wouldn’t it be smart to have any other Arizona county except Maricopa do the investigation. Maricopa County makes the District of Corruption look like a religious girl’s school.

They will investigate to the point that all the evidence disappears. A report will be then be issued that states no harm was actually done and all errors were unforeseen, accidental, and made no difference in the outcome of the election. Any statement otherwise will be considered “Russian misinformation”. I’ve seen this play before and know how it ends.

Maricopa County was lost when the Obama Administration took out Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Sheriff Joe was the one holding back the barbarians at the gates of Maricopa County. Once he was neutralized by the Obama DOJ … the county quickly fell into crony liberal fascism.

Let neighboring Yavapai County do the investigation. It’s a Republican area.
How much better would Arizona politics be today if in 1988 the Republican leadership in Maricopa county had thrown McCain out in the Charles H. Keating Jr scandal?
