Independent journalist Matt Taibbi dropped more Twitter Files yesterday that dived a bit further into just how far the deep state went in censoring the information available to the American people. As we already know, the FBI had a veritable revolving door of former agents finding critical positions in the company.
The FBI wasn’t the only spook outfit, though.
The reality is not only did the FBI and CIA enable embedded former agents in the organization, they essentially made Twitter the de facto subcontractor for their counterintelligence work. As previously reported, the incoming requests for suppressing accounts due to alleged “misinformation” or “Russian interference” campaigns were so frequent that it required Twitter to set up a reimbursement program with the federal government.
As Taibbi points out, not only did Twitter require reimbursement, but the influx of requests was so intense that they probably got underpaid for the amount of work they did for the intelligence community.
However, last night’s most interesting little nugget was the flagging of a book on the Biden family, which warrants a trip down memory lane.

True Stories? ..
CIA warned Twitter about upcoming publicity for a book by former Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin.
...
The book, aptly titled True Stories of Joe Biden’s International Corruption in Ukraine or Who Cannot be the President of the United States, was going to, according to the CIA message, discuss:
“alleged corruption by the U.S. government”
The warning specifically said:
“We assess with high confidence that in the summer of 2020 members of a Russian influence organization, which is at least partially directed by Russian intelligence, were aware of a production plan associated with an upcoming book.”
...
What exactly gave the CIA high confidence? We don’t know, nor do we know, based on what was released last night, if Twitter took any action on this particular ‘assessment’ sent to them from the CIA. So what do we know?
As New York Post journalist Miranda Devine pointed out last night, the book’s author was the same Ukrainian prosecutor Joe Biden bragged about getting sacked when he was Vice President.
...
Son of a Bitch..
For those who need a refresher, when Joe Biden was Vice President, he bragged at a foreign policy event about his prowess with international diplomacy.
For example, he described the following interaction with former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko:
“I said, ‘you’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.”
He followed up with the punch line:
“Well, son of a bitch, he got fired.”
The son of a bitch in question was Viktor Shokin, author of the book that the CIA flagged as Russian misinformation to Twitter.
Allegedly Vice President Biden at the time was strong-arming the firing of Mr. Shokin over charges of corruption. Still, the story gets stickier than that, as most things do that involve a Biden man.
...
Here is US intelligence running protection for Joe Biden over a book written by Viktor Shokin, the Ukrainian prosecutor who had been investigating Hunter Biden’s boss at Burisma when VP Joe Biden ordered the Ukrainian government to fire him.
...
The Prodigal Son..
Viktor Shokin was investigating the then Vice President’s son’s boss at Burisma. Burisma is a Ukrainian holding company for energy production companies, of which Hunter Biden was on the board.
Mr. Shokin had discovered that Hunter Biden’s America-based firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC, received monthly transfers from Burisma of about $166,000 between 2014 and 2015. Notably, Hunter Biden’s dad was the point man on Ukrainian and Russian relations, which were tense at the time as per the norm.
After his ‘firing,’ Mr. Shokin said in an affidavit from a European Court:
“The truth is I was forced out because I was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into Burisma Holdings, a natural gas firm active in Ukraine and Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was a member of the Board of Directors.”
He goes on to touch specifically on his conversation with his former boss:
“In my conversations with Poroshenko at the time, he was emphatic that I should cease my investigation regarding Burisma. When I did not, he said that the US (via Biden) were refusing to release the USD$1 billion promised to Ukraine. He said that he had no choice, therefore, but to ask me to resign.”
...
Luckily for the Biden patriarch, the federal government was on his side and pressured social media to suppress any stories related to the Hunter Biden laptop and, in turn, the Burisma connection.
...
Could It Be Worse? In 2015 a spokesperson for the Vice President said regarding Hunter Biden’s business dealings with Burisma:
“Hunter Biden is a private citizen and lawyer. The Vice President does not endorse any particular company and has no involvement with this company.”
Joe Biden himself has said numerous times that he has:
“…never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”
However, an email obtained by the New York Post via the infamous laptop proved otherwise. The email was to Hunter from Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser on the Burisma Board:
“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving me the opportunity to meet your father and spent some time together.”
Again, good thing the FBI was the ‘belly button’ for Twitter to help suppress this information. But how far would Joe Biden go to protect his son and, more importantly, himself?
In 2019 Mr. Shokin claimed that he survived an assassination attempt via mercury poisoning. According to him, his only real enemy would be Joe Biden.
...
What’s Next?
After Republicans clinched their narrow majority in the House, they promised all sorts of investigations. Many claimed that investigating Joe Biden’s involvement in possible international business corruption.
James Comer, the incoming Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, announced:
“The President’s participation in enriching his family is, in a word, abuse of the highest order.”
However, given that the Republican Party can’t seem to get their crap together to elect a Speaker, it remains to be seen if our elected representatives will get to the bottom of anything. While it might be a different political party in the majority in the House, it doesn’t change the nature of politics as usual.
Unfortunately, it’ll be up to independent journalists and the continuing Twitter File releases that will shine any light on anything. Until then, stay tuned, and I’d advise Elon to watch his back and have his mercury levels checked regularly.
Two years won’t be long enough to get all the people who need under oath to testify. Too bad the Senate was stolen from us.
We owe so much to Musk. He’d have been a great choice for House Speaker !!
In my lifetime I have only hated one man. I have since forgiven him.
I am trying very hard not to hate the monsters who rule us.
Well son of a bitch....
Only Twitter/Social Media, not the CIA could censor anything.
There will be no testimony of significance. Any target can safely ignore subpoenas and flip them the finger. What is the committee going to do? Send a contempt of Congress referral to Merrick Garland and have them arrested? Nope.
Cut off the funding to the agency in question? Nope... the GOP already took away the purse until 2024.
Don’t hold your breath on investigations. They are pretty much only going to be voluntary. And no agency will produce documents. No FBI, CIA, CDC, you name it.
Does the CIA ever get any real intelligence correct, or are they just in the business of doing the bidding of the military industrial complex? The later being fomenting endless wars.
How many Americans ever heard this? All FReepers did, no doubt.
The CIA told Twitter to censor the book by the fired prosecutor. Why am I not surprised?
I'm sure McCarthy will immediately begin to clean out this nest of vipers.
The CIA has many ways to convince you to “cooperate,” though.
“Nice Twitter you have there. It would be a shame...”
Get Sholkin to testify!
Treason has no statute of limitations. The DeepStaters in the DOJ, FBI, and other IC agencies will have to go to hell to escape eventual prosecution for their crimes.
Bullcrap. The CIA comes to your business and makes a demand? That’s like the mafia showing up and saying you need protection.
Twitter was happy to accommodate, but the CIA is an sworn enemy of everything our founders stood for and has destroyed America’s reputation around the world more than any other entity.
GOOD GRIEF! The most powerful government was telling them what to do, ARE YOU A GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL OR EMPLOYEE.?
BINGO!
“Too bad the Senate was stolen from us.”
I am going to have to dissagree with you here.
The Senate majority, in my opinion was not stolen, it was given away.
You are right on target. The CIA is not supposed to be involved in domestic politics but it is up to its eyeballs. Much of this is due to Dingbat Bush and his Patriot Act, which gives these bozos an everpresent excuse of “preventing terrorism”. Totally repellent, totally wrong and totally incompetent agency otherwise.
I would be a much better person if I were like you.
#5- best post on this thread
read carefully what the CIA told Twitter.
Some organization twice removed had some connection to someone or something to do with Russian intelligence.
And that organisation “WAS AWARE” of the producing of the book.
That’s it! Somebody knew he was writing the book.
IOW total BS.
